Initial Product Ideation:
To create a duplicate of the Kore Platform for investors to manage investments on the go.

After analysing the full scale of the platform I created the following proposal:

KoreID App: An app conect direcly to the Kore Platform and infrastructure, where Investors can log in with their KoreID and:

  • view all previous investments

  • reinvest in previously invested companies

  • view any pending invesments

  • manage their profile

  • fix any KYC errors for investments still in the compliance process

This would also remove some more complex features like share transfers, company profile, corporate investments

Hypothesis

Some email alerts regarding KYC issues were getting irgnored or forgotten. Having an app could accelarate the compliance KYC processing by sending alerts and having the investor fix KYC issues on the go.
At the same time, it allow full visibility on investment compliance status and access to their portfolio and profiles.

This would simplify and accelarate the develpment process, by:
focusing on the investor only

  • using only sections from the platform that were already fully functional

  • app easyer to maintain and fix

  • removing the need for other more complex parts of the platform, such as the

    Company’s profile

  • complex parts could be developed in the following versions

Results

  • new bottom menu for easy navigation based on primary app functions

  • turn Pop-up Modals into drawers

    • Important alerts/messages were kept as modals for urgent actions and quicker response

  • main tabs became horizontal menus

  • section tabs became forward flows into a new page

  • horizontal style cards became more rectangular cards

Outcomes

  • reinvestments 7x faster

    • reusable data from previous investments and personal profile

    • no need to refill investment form

  • KYC fixes responded quicker, reducing time the investment spent in the “pending” state
