KYC Limit Issues - Personal Profile
Problem Definition
Investors were unaware of their limits when investing through diferent regulation types and Investments were being declined due to transpassing the investment limit.
Challenges:
add a section where the investor can see real time their diferent limits on different regulation types and how each limit is calculated
enable investor to edit numbers like income and net worth and inform their accreditation.
inform any other necessary information and edit if possible
Solution Hypothesis
add a section where the investor can see real time their different limits for different regulation types and how each limit is calculated
reduction in declined investments ?
more clarity on calculated limits from SEC regulations

enable investor to edit numbers like income and net worth and inform their accreditation.
reducing necessity of declining the investment and making investor fill in forms again
inform any other necessary information and edit if possible

Shareholder Communications
Capitalization Table data
Dealroom ( if the company is doing a raise)
company meetings
Compliance Desk Design*
Problem Statement - User Story
Many Compliance Officers (CO) and Broker Dealers (BD) struggled with hundreds of emails per day communicating and exchanging information when it comes to investments in the private capital markets. Investor delayed responses to provide Due Diligence, slowing down the investment approval for KYC and payments.
Hypotesis
Create a section inside the platform to automate investment approval and payments by:
bringing the investir inside the platform
providing BDs and COs with visual feedback on investment status
automating KYC and Escrow API connections to the platform
facilitating data error correction from the Investor
My responsibility - Tasks
create a visual flow for the investments journey from initial investment to closing.
Diferent flow for each regulation, according to compliance needs
show all necessary investment data in separate tabs, organized by importance and context
Each regulation requires diferent information from investor, so each one needs its own layout structure
enable COs and BDs to take the necessary compliance actions
structure modals for with forms for both COs and Investors
design following company branding and design system
Results & Outcomes
A section specific to BDs and COs that accelarate their work flow and automates simple error fixes.
Faster KYC, Suitability, and AML checks
simple tab navigation following newly designed and enhanced workflow
filters to facilitate batch actions on diferent types of investments
separate tabs grouping up important information
erros highlighted for better visual cue
automatic aproval of investments that pass
investments that did not pass were tagged and separated
system would send automatic emails to investors for fixes
COs could manually edit or pass investment
batch closing of invesments when ready
