born in Salvador - bahia , I had the privilege to move to the city of Lakewood, Colorado - USA, where I lived for 4 years of my life and attended a normal American school.
I learned a lot about dealing with a different culture, diferent climate and learned fluently a completely different language.
GROWING UP, I was great at PENCIL DRAWINGS my favorite cartoons, and quick for Math and logic.
AN extremely curious KID that disassembled something just to see how it was inside.
Apart from my regular studies, my free time was spent playing a lot of games (boards, consoles, and PC). AT TEEN AGE, I already had the curiosity and knowledge to assemble my own computer and install every program I needed.
my first attempt at a degree was in Computer Sciences at UFF, but i didnt go through. coding just wasnt my thing. second attempt was at Industrial Design (I.D.) - product design focused. I was blessed to be a part of the second class in the history of I.D. at my university.
i learned about product cicles, design history, basic architecture plants, technical drawings (paper and c.a.d.), product materials and a lot more, but we had a huge focus on full product design -from research to prototyping - and ergonomics.
after graduating, it was not until I met UX Design that i HAD finally found the conection I WANTED (design + I.T.) and began diving into the digital world.
I finally knew what I wanted to do for the rest of my life!
My professional style
I am a very critical and logical person and designer. always observant, analyzing and rationalizing while using a product or service just as i am while designing. being Simultaneously ‘the devil’ and ‘the angel’ on a shoulder, i always have pros and cons for everyting.
During my career, I learned to find and solve problems by deeply studying the busisness, the problem, and their users, to design a creative solution that would be visually pleasing while coherently solving user problems
and needs.
as all designers should, i bloom with team work and colaboration. love to discusss opinions and brainstorm ideas.
I am very dedicated to what I do and I hardly end something without actually finishing it. I prefere my work to be simple, intuitive and very straight forward. As much as I want to make perfect designs, perfection can be an enemy. I like to think nothing is ever perfect, except nature.
I dream to be a Designer that can dive at any challenge and have the knowledge and wisdom to study and solve any problem.
My long term goal is to get a Mba to conect ux and business.
i long for an international remote career, while living close to my family and Ultimately to get a NN/g Certification and become a
master ux jedi.
